It's so wild that I not only had my debut showing at Gallery 1988 but I also SOLD OUT!!!
The theme for the show was curated by artist Steven Holiday and revolved around "Fake Gig Posters". A brilliant idea that allowed artists to create a piece inspired by a film or tv show where and event took place such as a concert or dance or movie screening, etc. I chose the opening concert of the sax playing 80s warrior Tim Cappello from Lost Boys. I did 2 versions (both limited): the off white lettra poster and the bubble gum pink with metallic gold ink. AND BOTH HAVE OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT! Thank you to Gallery 1988 for including my work and thank you to Steven Holiday for believing in me enough to ask me to be part of it initially. I will be continuing to have showings with them and I hope you all check it out!!!

I managed to get a copy of the bubblegum as soon as they dropped. I have not as of yet gotten it framed and put up because I have been doing a lot of house remodeling. I am looking forward to it though. This was by far my favorite from the show.
